How to install the Mac OSX binary releases of GRASS 5.4.x in gzipped tar format.

Installation:

1. get the file
   grass-5.4.x_hw-distro-version_bin.tar.gz
2. get the installation script
   grass-5.4.x_hw-distro-version_install.sh

with:

• x: binary_version
• hw: is the hardware architecture of your platform
• distro-version: Mac OSX distribution with version

• sh grass-5.4.0_hw-distro-version_install.sh --help
or
• ./grass-5.4.0_hw-distro-version_install.sh --help

• sh grass-5.4.0_hw-distro-version_install.sh grass5.4.0_powerpc-apple-darwin7.5.0_bin.tar.gz
  or
• ./grass-5.4.0_hw-distro-version_install.sh grass5.4.0_powerpc-apple-darwin7.5.0_bin.tar.gz
